We’re A Laughing Stock: Arsenal 5-0 Aston Villa

Orangutans LaughingAston Villa are the laughing-stock of the football league, and with all the unwanted records that Villa are breaking, and the lack of decision-making at the top of our club, you can see why. Villa haven’t scored a goal for 6 league matches now, and God only knows when we’re going to score our next, Chelsea next week maybe? Forget about it, we’ve got no chance! By the end of this season, Villa will have scored the least amount of goals in their entire history, and it’s embarrassing.

People believe that the current crop of Villa players can get us out of trouble, but not with the current manager. I’d like to think that a change of manager could get a tune out of the players, but the self-confidence they’re lacking, I don’t believe anyone can turn around Aston Villa’s fortunes if they came in now. The chance to make a change has long gone, and you can blame Lerner and Fox for that.

Lambert should have gone at the end of last season, and there were one or two windows of opportunity to relive him of his duties this season too, but Lerner and Fox didn’t act. All the evidence is there in black and white and it’s been there for a long time, and they still employ him with 4-year contracts, crazy! The Match Day Hospitality won’t be a very good seller in the Championship next seasons, and the Châteauneuf-de-Pape, it will taste like Vinegar to your few customers who will have to watch us play against teams the likes of Huddersfield and Rotherham!

We were a total disgrace today, and the players need to take the share of the blame, right? If a player isn’t putting it in, then it’s up to the manager to sub him! If the system isn’t working, then it’s up to the manager to change it! But we already know that Lambert is out of his depth, so you can expect more games like today. Villa is really buggered, the board won’t sack the manager, the manager doesn’t appear to know what he’s doing, the players don’t know what they’re doing, blimey, I don’t know what I’m doing!!! It’s all so confusing!

An old man once said to me, “so long as Lambert is in-charge, we won’t go anywhere, except for down.” I believe him, but I do believe that Lerner and Fox are far more dangerous to the well-being of Aston Villa F.C. They won’t make the hard decisions at critical times. It’s pointless wondering why they won’t sack Lambert, they just won’t, and Lambert knows this, and so do the players. There’s no accountability at the Villa, and that’s going to be our downfall. UTV

  1. I feel for you m8 , but just remember that exactly the same words were being spoken about Wenger and co just a few weeks ago, see you in the prem next year I hope

  2. I think that you have just about covered it, I think that much of the problem stems from all of the above but equally the players are totally devoid of ideas. They slow the play to an almost embarrassing speed and invite the opposition to get back to their starting positions, why? Then you have the level of (non)commitment particularly by the likes of Benteke. I think we all expected a defeat at the Emirates but we hoped that we might at least give them a game and possibly fluke a draw. We now have Chelsea to look forward to why not bench Benteke and play Weiman at centre forward, at least he will make some runs and give the defence something to think about. Both Sinclair and Gill buzzing around and a mobile forward won’t give us victory but might give us hope. Sadly if the surrender monkey’s show up again we could end up further embarrassed

  3. Solution is simple employ a proper manager and premier league quality coaching staff, the quality of the players is not too bad, lambert has no clue re coaching.

  4. i just dont understand how he seems to get it wrong so often
liverpool,, crap formation, leicester,, 6 nil would have been a fair result
ball mouth reserves,, they were better by a mile first half
lambert has more knowledge of football than all of us put together
so he must see something,,,, he cant be so devoid of tactical nouse
i cant believe that he set up against the arsenal to fail and that
the tactics would crush every ones spirits
there must be a bigger picture,, maby today he thought lets just go for it
and see what comes of it,, we can then see whats what,,,
we must sit deep and be spoilers against chelsea,,, and hit on the break
    we know whats coming though
