Jack Grealish Has The Last Laugh

After what we witnessed at St Andrews today leaves a bittersweet taste in the mouth. Firstly the bitter, our captain Jack Grealish was brutally attacked from behind from a coward of a Birmingham City fan. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this in English football before.

The coward ran onto the pitch and knocked Grealish to the ground with a vicious right hand from behind, and if it wasn’t for the steward who tackled the scumbag from behind, he might have gotten a kick in on Grealish as well.

I was listening to the radio discussing the incident, when a Blues fan said that one mindless idiot shouldn’t represent his club and Birmingham City it self. Well tough luck Mr!!! You own this one! Did you not see the Blues fans clapping this thug as he was led of the pitch? And just so that you know, if this was a Villa fan, I’d be given him just as much stick as I’m given this coward.

But now for the sweet! Isn’t it funny how the man that has been wronged, turns out to be the one who delivers the victory, and then rightly receives all the glory. Well that man was Jack Grealish. The way in which Grealish conducted himself after being attacked, not only by a fan, but also by a steward who seemed to kick him when he was celebrating his winning goal with the Villa faithful, is a credit to his family and our football club. Well done Jack, really well done. UTV
