The Small Club Syndrome Of Norwich City FC

av vs norGrow Up Norwich

I’ve only just recently discovered that Norwich City FC are actually being run by idiots, I’m sorry to say. I knew that Villa wasn’t going to be on NCFC’s christmas card list when we employed Paul Lambert, but Christ Almighty, I didn’t think that loss of Lambert would leave such an unhealable wound.

For me it really shows how immature and pathetic they are. To cut all ties with Aston Villa Football Club just because we got their former manager is really puzzling to me, in fact I’m F*****G furious about it.

Wes Hoolahan

This isn’t about Hoolahan coming to The Villa. I don’t really know if he is good player or not. But I do know, that he hasn’t had many starts for Norwich this season, so that might go some way of telling you something about the quality and the form of Wes Hoolahan and wether we should be trying to sign him up at all. But for me thats a different subject all together.

My Message To The Suits At Norwich City FC is, Grow Up!!! It really shows how bitter and twitted you are. It can’t be good business to carry on this way, it makes you look like amateurs. And if you have a problem with Paul Lambert then its time to let it go, you’ll only do yourself more harm holding a grudge. If its something else he’s done to upset you, “Grow A Pair” and tell the world what it is, so we can try to understand the problem you’ve got with Lambert and The Villa. UTV

  1. You say we are run by idiots. We are free of serious debts, apart from director loans. Good money management by the board……What is your debt?

We are over 97% full at every league home game.

We are smart enough not to sell WH to any relegation rivals (hopefully) not just Villa.

In my personal opinion i will always be grateful to Paul Lambert, he had a massive hand in our current position and i respect him completely. I don’t think it’s acceptable to sell any of our players to any relegation rivals let alone Villa.

Your view will be that we are being immature and childish but lets not forget that PL left us. We didn’t sack him. We tried to keep him and he tried to sue us for constructive dismissal before we took action.

The problem is that if Villa wanted our players and we didn’t want to sell them then it would be because the player is more valuable than you are offering or are needed in the team. The press will always suggest that its because of PL.

Don’t take it to heart, it’s business. And if you turned the tables you would feel the same. I’m 100% certain!!

    • Hi Mark…We have debt, we owe all of our debt to Randy Lerner. But trust me I’m a critic of RL and the way he’s run our club. Check some of my past post’s or go through my old tweets to see that I don’t follow our leaders blind.

We also have a healthy attendance at VP considering some of the dross we’ve been served up over the last three years.

Like I said, Its not about Wes Hoolahan.

Your right that is my view about Norwich being childish. To me you shouldn’t take business personal. Its seems like you wouldn’t sell AV a glass of water even if were dying of thirst so long as PL is there.

Try @MickDennisReal he’ll tell you its not about PL coming to Villa, Its something far worse he suggested. He is a top Journalist and he will reply to you on twitter and he supports Norwich.

Lasty thanks for your comment Mark you make very good points even if I disagree with some of them.

      • Hi Glenn,

        Thanks for your reply.

At this moment in time i find myself infuriated with many NCFC supporters who are constantly calling for the manager to, for him to play more attacking football and so on.

We are not even close to being a stable Premier League team. You could say that despite previous years, Villa are somewhat of a stable team. I feel that anything that gives you the edge over us should be opposed.

We are now in the fantastic position of not needing to sell players, and whilst Wes may want to go, it is only because he is not playing games. He should be in our team week in and week out, and i can see why you would want to buy him.

I think it comes down to peoples perceptions of a situation. Harsh as it sounds, Villa are the last team i would be selling players to but only because we are in similar situations.

Good luck with your season and i hope PL brings you everything he has brought us (except Wes)

  2. Come on Glenn. We don’t need Hoolahoop at the villa and further more Norwich can sell their assets to who they want. Get over it dude. UTV
