King Christian Benteke Stays!!!
I quite like that, King Christian Benteke, Its gotta ring to it, don’t you think? So the biggest summer saga for The Villa finally comes to an end with King Benteke signing an extension until 2017 with a wage increase reported to be worth £60,000 a week, and he deserves it.
But it was a rocky road for The Villa Faithful, as we had to put up with speculation from all sources, such as Talksport and most of the written London biased press, that King Benteke was going to sign for Tottenham Hotspur. And you know what, I thought he was a goner to. But I was thoughtful with my opinions on this situation, because you just don’t know.
There were also plenty of The Villa Faithful out there, who gave him a hard time on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook. And I don’t blame those fans for feeling that way, we hear news that concerns The Villa, good or bad and we react to it. Some Villains are considered in there views and some are not, and thats fine to, provided its within the law. But which ever way you express yourself it shows you care.
My Final Thoughts
My final thoughts are, I wonder how Spurs fans are feeling? I bet they feel pretty sick. They thought it was in the bag, that he was gonna come and actually win them the title with Gareth Bale. Well he stayed, he’s ours, so go and get stuffed, he isn’t going anywhere. Ha HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA . UTV

Glad to Benteke sign an extension to his contract. I didn’t give him a hard time although the way the whole saga was played out (transfer request) has left a little sour taste in my mouth. But its now time to move on and get behind the villa.
I’m the same as you Dabaloo. I did give him a bit of stick but I was hurt by his transfer request. Looking at it now it might have been a way for him to get a better deal on the table for himself or maybe because the lack of an official offer being made by a club he thought he shouldn’t continue with his request. I’m a simple man and I don’t like my emotions being played with like that and I’m sorry for calling a self centred tw*t.
Understood mate, if your Mrs said she fancied the butcher down the road and said he had a bigger sausage than you ha ha, I can understand how you might feel. But joking aside its now time to get behind the Villa.
We all react to good news & bad news but who knows what to believe these days whether things are true or not i never gave the young man a bad name despite his transfer request(mr benteke)but i am over the moon to see the end of it all now & glad he has done himself justice signing a new improved contract fair play come on u villans !!!!
Am I missing something here,he signed a contract last season and this year asked to leave,who’s to say he won’t do it again?
So glad this is all over next season looks so much rosier with Christian aboard. another season like the last and a decent world cup 45 mil would be needed for his services. Been so impressed by lambert so far… BRING ON THE ARSENAL
