Is It To Much To Ask For
Well is it to much to ask for, I ask myself, you say what, I say a good performance once in a while. Yes we have to accept the fact that we can’t or won’t compete with the so called big boys for big money transfers to make our club compete for top honours. You constantly hear a lot of Villans saying that our stats prove we’re an improving side and we’re a work in progress and any other cliche you wish to think of. Don’t it just do your head in? We all have to be happy and content because the stats say so!!!
You know a lot of us Villans out there don’t ask for much, we’re a tolerant bunch and we don’t ask for the impossible from our leaders (Lerner, Faulkner, Lambert). But how about a bit more money for Lambert so we can compete with a side like Everton, a club I have the upmost respect for. How about seeing the owner around the club a bit more than he is, to show he’s still interested. What about Lambert putting our best players in there best positions and if he’s had a falling out with a player (Lowton) he needs to stop holding a grudge for long periods of time if someone dare to cross him, its not healthy.
Yes most of us Villans are aware of where we are at the moment and we’re realistic, but something really has got to happen as far as performances are concerned. We need to feel good about ourselves. We need to see more good performances for longer periods of time like we played at The Emirates and Stamford Bridge and the first 30 minutes against Everton. You see, even if we loose it won’t feel so bad if your side has performed well.
So if we’re not to win the League or get into Europe, then please put a smile on our faces and give us a good run in the cup competitions. And more than anything else, a few more Good Performances, because its the only thing we have as villains at the moment. UTV
