I Can Feel It In My Bones, Yeah Right: Hull City A.F.C. vs Aston Villa

I've a hunchI think we’re already down because the evidence is there, staring me right in the face, but some of you out there still think we’ve a chance of staying up, and fair play to you. But if we’re to stay up, then it must start with a win against Hull City tomorrow night, as these are the games Aston Villa must win.

Aston Villa’s performance was an improvement, but only for 15 minutes at the start of the second half when we scored our equalising goal. For me, it looked as if Chelsea were going through the motions and got caught cold at the start of the second. In the mean time, Hull was giving the Champions a right scare, until James Milner came to the rescue and scored an equalising goal to save City’s Blushes.

Now, who’s going to have the most confidence going into tomorrow night’s match? Aston Villa, who lost at home in an exhibition match against an opposition who didn’t seem to break into a sweat, or Hull City, who should’ve beaten Manchester City, only to be saved in stoppage time by the ex Villa player Milner? I just don’t feel confident about Villa’s chances at all!

I hope I’m wrong about Villa going down into the Championship, and I don’t like feeling down about Villa all the time, but you have to admit, it’s been grim for many years. Aston Villa occupy an area in the Premiership that we’ve grown accustom too, and we all know the table never lies. So, until we have a dramatic upturn in our results, I won’t be thinking to myself, ‘I got a feeling about this one’, or, ‘I can feel it in my bones we’re going to win this match’. I need more than a hunch, I need hard evidence, I need results, and quick!!! UTV

  1. are form against the teams around us is terrible , bentekes gone into meltdown,
we are still creating little although there is some improvement in the approach play

are corners , crosses, free kicks are probably the worst in the country

    i could go on,,,,

if vlaar is fit play clarke up front,,, at least he will provide a threat in the air

  2. If villa win and survive, does that merit more of the same senario
Of Lambert for the next four years with Lerners absent approval
Of cut backs and little entertainment. They are all treading on thin
Ice .and it’s finally cracking every where.

  3. I wonder if Lambert HAS to stay as long as Lerner owns the club because if anther manager came in and found out how AVFC is being run he’d contact the relevant authorities and have Lerner sectioned.
