Rémi’s A Goner, With Bruce, Moyes And Pearson Waiting In The Wings

new-beginning-soul-kissesThere is no doubting that this Aston Villa squad is just awful and many managers would struggle to get a tune out of these losers, but if the right man would have been put in charge after Tim Sherwood’s sacking, I believe we would have done better than what we have done under Garde.

Why some people say that Garde was the right manager but at the wrong time is beyond me, these are stupid hypothetical statements! For me, he was the wrong man who never should have got the job in the first place, full F*****G stop!!! Garde was hired by idiots who have a past record of making dreadful footballing decisions for our club, this should be enough to tell you he was the wrong man.

You know something, I don’t feel in the slightest bit sorry for Rémi Garde, he’s just another guy passing through Aston Villa football club who will make a lot of money out of us, and all because of an incompetent board who employed him. But now we have a new board and I going to try to trust these guys.

But with Rémi leaving, whom should we get in? I don’t think that David Moyes would come to the Villa, I really don’t, and Steve Bruce? He was once the manager of Birmingham City and if we had a bad run of results, then you must know that things could turn nasty with some of the Villa faithful, right?

Me, I’d go for Nigel Pearson for reasons that I’ve already explained in past posts, but if any of the names that I’ve already mentioned got the job, they’d get my full support, but for now, it’s au revoir Remi. UTV

  1. Why are the Villa fans so obsessed with ”the board ‘ . The board don’t put the ball in the back of the net and they don’t manage the team . The problem is the fans themselves who have failed to support their team and give them any type of hope and encouragement.
By failing to support their team the fans have ensured a life in the championship with the likelihood of Div 1 looming even quicker .
The only ray of light is that Pearson is bought in , who doesn;t take fools gladly – the only problem being is that there is an awful lot of them connected to the Villa

    • Incorrect the only thing we are guilty of is not deluding ourselves that we have players worthy of the shirt.

  2. As long as Lerner remains nothing will change regardless of who is on the board or who is manager. All the changes are just cosmetic the ‘no investment’ policy will remain while Lerner owns the club. The guy is the worst owner in English football bar none.

  3. It’s really sad and pain seeing Villa park going down’its all star long back and again buying wrong players and giving time to wrong manger too.and loosing good mangers

  4. Keep changing managers is not the answer! And none of those suggested above would last more than a season and in the case of Pearson probably no more than a couple of games!

  5. No manager can save us at this point in time. We have to face big teams still and we just don’t have the quality on the pitch to compete. Our players came from leagues that don’t have the pace and fearce competitiveness as the premier league. They are good in their own right and in the right team they would be a valuable asset but to put them all together and expect them to be experienced enough and have an edge on most players in the prem was asking way too much off them. I’ve not missed a game yet and they do try hard even when their backs against the wall but just can’t cut it. You have to blame previous management and staff with poor decision making of securing and selling players that could have helped our cause. Remi was never gonna do it, not experienced enough in the situation we are in. Handed a good team in the French league with players that can compete there was a task any decent manager can do with ease. The foundations were already in place. But for us it was always a bit more than he could chew. The staff stopped his plans in the January window and gave him no support really, almost like using him as their scapegoat for years of mistakes and stupidity. And for the fans, we turn up every week. Even knowing we will probably get beat again, but we still cheer on the boys because they try their hardest with the skills they have. Just a shame to see them looking poor from the results we have accumulated. Maybe a shake up in the championship is needed, the new chairman is already reshaping the backroom staff and trying to set stronger foundations. Just maybe dropping down will make Lerner feel the pinch in his pocket and do his best to get us back up. Who knows knows, but changing a manager now should surely either be a kick up the players arse or too much for another man to achieve and hammer more nails in villas coffin. Me, we are going down and should start to make plans to reshape the team with quality suitable to be the best a championship team can get and push on back to the prem.
