Didn’t They Do Well
Yes, Villa done well!!! I feel very proud of what the boys done tonight at Anfield. To play Liverpool at their ground and come away with a point has been quite hard for a lot of teams this season. And with the way we played, especially in the first half, it looked for quite a while that we could actually win this game.
The Goals
Andreas Weimann opened the scoring, courtesy of Gabby making a great cross on the left. Then The Beast Benteke made it two for The Villa, with a great header from a Gabby cross on the right, this time. Then of course Liverpool got back into the match with a goal just on the stroke of half time, with a Daniel Sturridge cheeky chip. Was it a penalty? I’d say no! For me, I thought Luis Suárez dived. Though I’ve got to say I think Guzan did give the ref a decision to make. Maybe he could of continued to push Suárez out to the left. But its easy for me to say that sitting on the sofa.
The Villa Boys Done Well
Having said all that, I think you gotta feel proud of what the Young Villa Lions done today. And dare I say it, Well Done Paul Lambert! So well done to Lambert and his Lions, Lets follow this good performance with home win next week against Westbromwich Albion. You’ve shown us that you can play football, so let’s continue it and get Villa Park rocking next week!!! UTV
