What a performance last night from the lads. Every single one of them can now count themselves as heroes, at least in the eyes of the Villa fans, from now until the end of time.
Waiting for the match to begin felt like an eternity. Then suddenly it was all over in a flash, with Aston Villa crowned Europa League champions after ninety unforgettable minutes.
I’m not going to explain the match to you. I know you have watched it, talked about it, and come to your own conclusions about everything that happened.
What I will say is that the three goals we scored were world-class. And when Emiliano Buendia scored his goal, I genuinely felt like I was in heaven. It was a surreal moment.
