Aston Villa vs Chelsea on Saturday shouldn’t be the same as when we played them at Stamford Bridge where we got beat 8-0. And when we were going into that match, I had The Villa getting a point.
And what I based that on was our form. At the time Aston Villa were unbeaten in six, we took all the points at Anfield with a 1-3 win, a 1-4 win against Norwich at Carrow Road, 1-0 win against Reading at Villa Park, Stoke, QPR and Arsenal we had drawn all those matches, so could anyone see that thrashing coming our way, no I would argue.
But hindsight is a great thing isn’t it, and when I look back I don’t think we were really assured in all those games, (maybe with exception of Norwich). Liverpool could have been 4 nil up in the first half, if they had taken all there chances, we scored in the eightieth minute against Reading, a game we made hard work of. And then the draws we worked really hard for. There was something not quite right.
But this time I really think we are good for a point at the minimum. And even though we have had a few losses in our last eight matches, you’ve gotta say we look much more like a team that would give most teams in our league a game. In fact Aston Villa are the form team out side the top five. And now I can honestly say Villa deserved all our wins, we deserved more than the draws we got, and some of the losses you could say we deserved draws (with the exception of Manchester United).
So Saturday Yes Yes Yes we can get a point or maybe a win. Come On Villa.

Then we sell him for £25 to Chelsea in the summer.
It would be nice if your prediction came true..I would be happy with a point..as far as selling Benteke that’s a no no..we’ve go to keep our best players for as long a possible..we’re not a spring board for players to come in and go on to other so called bigger clubs just because they’ve have one good season.

Tough game today, but Chelsea must be sick of playing football due to the number of games they have played in a short period of time. Fancy a 2-2 draw today as the players and fans will be pumped up to give stan a good fare well. It’s going to be an emotional one. Utv and all the best to stan.
