Whinging Tottenham Fans Don’t See Villa As A Threat

whinging spursThe law of averages say’s, we’ve got to win a game against Tottenham soon, and it could be today. Tottenham have won three out of their last five Premiership matches and are lying sixth in the league, which doesn’t sound too bad, but their performances have been absolutely rubbish lately, so it’s important we take advantage of that fact. Villa can’t be counted out of this match, we’ve got our Premiership status to think of and we could do with the added confidence of a good result to see us right in the FA Cup semi final next week. So don’t take us likely John!!!

Spurs don’t see us as a threat, and they were quite amused with our then uncompetitive football team that lost 3-0. With our fancy dress antics at the end of last season, they were saying things like, “Villa were some of the best fans to visit White Hart Lane”, well you got that dam right! In-fact, we’ve probably got the best away support in the league. I don’t think you’ll be laughing at us today, as we’ll be bringing quite a different team to the Lane, and Benteke is on fire!!!

The Spurs fans are organising a 59th minute round of applause in honour of Tim Sherwood’s win ratio. The Villa faithful will most probably join in with this silly tribute as we have a sense of humour, unlike the Spurs fans. We all know that the whining Spurs fans are the most fickle in English football history with the West Ham fans not far behind them. Their over confidence could be their downfall, and if we were to get a win today, the pictures that would be planted on their faces would be priceless. So come on Villa, let’s do this!!! UTV

  1. Villa aren’t a threat Spurs are perennial top 6 finishers whereas you are perennial bottom feeders. Why would Spurs view you as a threat? We might whinge but at least we fill our ground week in week out season in season out, and always take our full away allocation. The same can’t be said for Villa who have had some shockingly poor attendances in the last few years.

  2. You are joking? Ex THFC player/coaches/tea ladies always bring a jinx to WHL and invariably score( Not sure about the tea ladies there : )) or help to beat us, When we beat QPR H we all were surprised and it has NOTHING to do with form as it seems that they always seem to have a point to make and show it, often for the only time in a season. The arrogance of the above post shows little knowledge of AV’s past history and probably even THFC’s.

  3. Is this what you do when your team are so terrible? Make up some stuff!
Win loose or draw Spurs fans will leave the match knowing their club is currently better than villa in every way. And thanks to you we also know villa fans are struggling for any reason to follow their club. Shame. As one of the ever present clubs I would always look to see you survive in the premiership, perhaps those days are ending. COYS.

  4. Villa can’t be taken lightly today. We have a great record against them in recent years and on this basis should win. But we took a five league games unbeaten streak against Man Utd to Old Trafford recently and that went wrong. Villa of course aren’t Man Utd, but all the same we need to be careful. Spurs’ form has tailed off recently too and we’re struggling to beat anyone. So, it could come down to which team wants it more, I hope that team is Spurs. Oh, and if you’re looking for expressive faces at the end of the match, win or lose, check out Tim Sherwood’s, it should be quite a study in elation or despair. COYS!
