Brendan Rodgers To Be Sacked On Sunday

brendanAll Liverpool fans will be hoping for a Villa win on Saturday so that Brendan Rogers will hopefully get the sack on Sunday. Liverpool fans are beside themselves with anger and bewilderment, especially after Rogers could only get them in the top four once and an embarrassing Champions league run. All this for a reported cost of £312m!!! I don’t know about you, but if you spend more than £300m, you’d expect to be winning the league every season, let alone just challenging for it!!!

Liverpool’s current form is an embarrassment to the great Liverpool teams of the past, least that’s what one Liverpool fan said to me. And look, all their best players want to leave all the time, something that would have never happened in the past! But I do believe that Liverpool have found their rightful place in the league, between 5th and 8th, most people can see it, pundits can see it (but they don’t admit it), and deep down and if they’re honest with themselves, the Liverpool fans know it!

Yes, Aston Villa’s second half collapse against Leicester City and our no-show against the Baggies was a huge disappointment, but I do believe that our morale boosting win against the Blues will prove the difference when we visit Anfield on Saturday, and don’t forget, we’re Liverpool’s bogey team when we play at their ground. Hopefully we can give them what they crave on Saturday, a loss! We get the win, and Rogers gets the sack, everyone is happy, except for Brendan of course! UTV

  1. We can beat Carlisle that’s imbaresed to see how lfc fallen from this br Rodger as a manager br Rodger damage the lfc if we would give rafel benithiez the amount money br Rodger we would have team like Real Madrid but what a shame after we gave br Rodger lot of money team play second decision team that’s called his quality as a manager I wonder what fsg is waiting for time to sack br Rodger or pack the bag fsg with Rodger

  2. If Rodgers cant engineer a victory against what in truth is a poor Villa side (have we improved at all since Lambert hit the exit door?), after splashing out the large amount of cash that he has been allowed by the Anfield hierarchy, then he really needs to take a long hard look at himself, his signings, his tactics, his team selections, his in-game substitutions.

I don’t want to see anyone lose their job because we rolled them over, but of course if BR is shown the door by the Liverpool owners, it will be because of all that has gone before, not just on the basis of one home defeat against us.

I’m solely concerned about how we perform, desperately hoping of course that we get a result up there, because yet another defeat will really leave us deep in the mire.

The performances/results against Leicester and West Bromwich Albion were unacceptable, while that first forty-five against Birmingham took us to new lows.

I’m going to let Liverpool worry about their concerns and failings, we’ve got enough to worry about with the current Villa Park situation.

We are just a couple of bad results away from being in near crisis mode. If that worrying scenario actually comes to pass, then our own manager will be facing and receiving the type of flak currently being hurled in BR’s direction.

No, Tim hasn’t spent anywhere near the numbers that his Liverpool counterpart has, but he has reshaped the squad with players of his choosing, and I’m sorry, but I think that we should be witnessing better, and picking up more points, than what has been in evidence up to date.

There’s been narrow defeats in there sure, but they have all been defeats of our own making. That cannot be allowed to continue.

Over to you Tim. Get it sorted.

    • Gary,

Arsene Wenger is a wise manager who has not only brought success but also made Arsenal millions with his shrewd moves in the transfer market.

Wenger states that he always gives foreign players 6 months to adjust to the Premier league.

You saying that 6 games is enough?

While I appreciate your concern for the well being of Aston Villa, I think Sherwood must keep his cool & follow the advice of Arsene Wenger to all his new players.

It will come good, please be patient.

  3. Rogers was working and succeeded under umbrella of Luis Suarez.
So,because Suarez has left there is no need of depending on empty techniques coacher who can’t bring any success at our club.
We need Kloop or Ancelot to succeed
Liverpool fc will always never walk alone

  4. Brendan Rogers must go back to playing the attacking brand of football that got us so close in 2014. He is not a very good defensive minded coach He falls short tactically.

  5. I never want us to lose a game of football. What i want is for the owners to realise that Brendan is not the right man for the job. He doesn’t inspire anyone. How can he or Gary Mac say that having 50 shots against Carlisle is a good thing? It’s the quality of the shots, the possession, the way we play. We lost Stevie G and let him goto the US when he should have been made assistant coach rather than Sean O’Driscoll.

  6. I don’t believe he is still a LFC manager. Roy was bad but this man is worse. He spent all the money but look he has brought to my beloved LFC, tears and broken hearts. I think he is just waiting for a pay cheque now, any man wort his salt would have resigned last season.

  7. Stop wasting our time you decision makers of the liverpool FC .Does Brand Roger looks like liverpool manager in the first place? Is it because of the formal 3 S Sucess meaning Surez,Sturidge,Steeling that fool those decision makers?why wait until sunday?please act very fast and unveil our new manager especially we the fans from LIBERIA.Other fans still regard us as mighty pool therefore we want to stay uphold to that idea.

    • I have been a lfc fan 30 yrs i think br has til Christmas to start playing players in rite positions even if he has to leave out some fan favorites, I’d drop big ben, play ings, studge, couthino and leave firmino in a free roaming position behind front 3. I’d have lallana in middle inter changing with milner getting up n down the pitch, moreno sahko, skertel and clyne to get up the line as much as he can. I don’t want Rodgers sacked c were we r come christmas and then assess the situation. Proper lfc fans have seen it all and won’t believe br has become a bad manager over the summer but he will have to come up wit some inspiration to get this team playing as a unit and defend as a unit and spirit. I would also like to see a few leaders on the pitch wen someone makes a mistake scream and shout at him and tell him to pull the finger out, cos there to nice to each other on the pitch I’d like to see them show some fighting spirit among them, maybe then we’d see a change

      • The players and fans have lost faith in their manager..player form can only dip until a new manger takes over. Even if we win tomrw, i guarantee u that the team will play so poorly that u wud wish we lost.
There is no point waitin till xmas, it wud only get worse. He should be sacked before tomorrow…

  8. What can i say 3 defeats on a row at end of last season carnt score even now with the money he rodgers has spent and all through the great commitment of l.f.c supporters time for a huge change on the dugout anf upstairs!!!

  9. If the sacking of Rodgers is as imminent as fans hope, shouldn’t owners have made an announcement by now? Rodgers got us close but then lost it horribly. The club is much bigger than him so why wait. Get it over and done with so that the new manager have some time to put things right.l

  10. He deserves more time! The team needs to settle and he must be given more time to find the best squad and formation!

    • By the looks of things you look like the one of the 18% who want to see Rodgers stay….it takes all sorts. Seriously what faith do you have in this horrendous excuse of a manager.
