Sancho’s Mistakes, Martinez’s Moment, Abraham’s Winner Over Sunderland

What a game that was. Just when you thought we were cruising towards a comfortable two-goal home win, Sunderland pulled one back through Trai Hume on eighty-six minutes, and suddenly it felt like the game had turned.

A minute later, Sunderland struck again to make it 3-3. Villa were all over the place. We were clearly rattled and you can understand why. Jadon Sancho’s two costly mistakes had dragged Sunderland right back into this match.

Then came a huge moment. Emiliano Martinez, like a rockstar, pulled off a fantastic save to stop Sunderland taking the lead and possibly taking all three points. Can you believe it still wasn’t over even after that.

Tammy (The Life Saver) Abraham stepped up and scored what proved to be the winner, and in doing so, saved our blushes.

An outstanding match for the neutrals, a heart-stopping one for the Villa faithful, and no doubt for Unai Emery as well.

We are in a very strong position in the league for a Champions League place after this result. But honestly, do we have to do it the hard way every flipping time? UTV
