You Must Act Now Randy Or The Pain Will Continue

lerner 1The pain continues, and if Randy Lerner doesn’t show that he’s got a backbone, then Villa will continue on this downward spiral of doom. Tom Fox is the new CEO at Villa; he has to start earning his money and report to Randy Lerner that the job is beyond Lambert’s capabilities ASAP!!! Tom Fox worked for Arsenal for quite some years, so he should know the difference between a good and bad manager.

At Villa Park, there’s an old fellow who sits just in front of me, he said to me, “So long as that man is in-charge of our club, we wont go anywhere, he’s useless.” Admitted, it was at the end of one of our many home defeats early on last season, but the old-timer has been going to Villa Park long before I was born, I wasn’t going to tell him that he was wrong. That old fellow knew what he was talking about, and I believe that if there isn’t a change soon, this could be his last season at Villa Park.

After the loss to QPR Monday night, angry Villa fans were calling for Lambert’s head. Social media went into melt down, radio stations were besieged with Villa fans voicing their opinions that Lambert should go. There’s hardly anyone out there who wants Lambert to stay, and if there is anyone, give me one or two really good reasons why he should stay, or forever hold your tongue.

Where do we go from here? Well, we go into Sundays match with no hope of winning and that’s not because of the players, it’s because of the manager!!! I believe there is a better manager out there who could get a tune out of the Villa players, but it starts with Mr Fox! It doesn’t have to be nasty, just inform Randy that he isn’t the man for the job! Randy, go to Lambert, put your hand on his shoulder and say, ‘Sorry son it’s just not working’. Don’t be a hippy all your life Randy; you’re a businessman, please, act like one!!! UTV

  2. I’ve had it up to hear with this pillock!!! Did you see him the other night, he aint got a scooby do!!!!!! Pay him off lerner and if you don’t want to dip into your own pocket, we’ll have a whip round!!!! Lambert out out out bleeding out!!!!!

  3. The problem now is that if we lose but score a goal Lambert will claim that as some sort of success.
I’m wondering though, what type of new manager would we attract with the club up for sale. However, if we have to wait for Lerner to sell Villa before there is a new manager, we’ll be waiting in the Championship or lower. This is a horrible situation created by the appalling incompetence of both owner and manager.

    • Excactly, but I think people can see through his crap now. As to whether we can still attract a decent manager, I believe we can. I’d bet a pound to a penny that if Pullis or Moyes was offers the job they’d jump at the chance. Our big problem is the owner, he needs to give Lambert the push and I don’t think he will. God Help us !!!

  4. Lambert has finally managed to extinguish all imagination and creativity in the team. A win is invariably a one-off, while every game we lose begins a long losing streak, and this has been the same since Lambert arrived – and yet Lerner has given him a contract extension: an idiot has willingly handcuffed himself to another idiot for 4 more years. If it wasn’t Villa I’d be laughing, but this is horribly real.

  5. Try and keep this as short as possible. Lambert is the core problem. The quality and yes there actually is quite a lot at Villa is being ruined by Lambert’s inept coaching. There are world class players at Villa that are becoming a shadow of expectations. Sanchez is a fine example, a fine prospect that had me looking forward to this season. Take a look at his reaction to giving the ball away against QPR for the second goal, its total frustration, he really doesn’t know what to do with the ball and ends up in no man’s land! That to me is coaching at its worst, being told to move sideways rather than finding the instinctive through ball. These players are having their natural game changed and not for the best! The QPR game distinctly highlighted the team with a lack of creativity or more likely, lack of guidance. I expect Villa to come out on Sunday and run at Spurs like headless chickens, should Villa go behind then we could see the Villa team not wanting the football and ultimately a complete collapse. My last point has to be Mr Clarke, a complete baffoon at this level. How Lambert can seriously see a better player in the guise of Clarke rather than Okore is beyond any football brain. I can’t fatham why Okore appears in reserve games, plays OK, then appears on bench only to disappear the following match or worse still, be replaced by Clarke or even Baker. We have one of the most exciting set of centre forwards in the premier league with pace and skill but there’s no link man and they are effectively being wasted. On Sunday against Spurs we need our midfield to move into space and release the ball quicker to the front men and not lump it aimlessly toward Benteke.

  6. It is time for learner to act quickly and be decisive but all he seems to be doing is burying his head in the sand get rid of Paul Lambert we have the players and you can see that the quality is there so the problem lies with lambert his tactics and man management doesn’t cut it and is out of his depth so why on earth did the club offer him a new contract after the past to seasons? Tony pulis would be a good shout and moyes is looking for employment because the danger is for us that should we end up relegated and that is more than likely with lambert and Keane at the helm then its a long way back

  7. I can’t think of any excuses why we should keep lambert but I can give you a million reasons why he should go. Lerner needs to take the bulk of the responsibility for give him a new 4 year deal!!! I mean, how the hell did you become a billionaire. #LambertOut

    • As far as I understand it, Lerner inherited his wealth from his dad.
I’m not saying Lerner and Lambert are bad people, it’s just that as people operating in the English Premier League they are both hopelessly out of their depth to an extent that is causing damage to Aston Villa Football Club.

  8. Does everyone realise how little our squad cost.
Take away a couple of stars from the first team and we’d struggle in the championship. Pulis and co. wouldn’t touch us with a barge pole.

  9. words can not express the anger that this man lambert causes i have been a going down villa park since 1954 since i was 10 years of age the man has not got a clue he is tactless he has no idea what formation to play to leave okore out and pick clarke says it all for me please mr lerner we have had enough david moyes tony pulis or are we waiting until we are in the championship before we make a move mr lerner you are not a bad man please make changes before it is to late

  10. I’m not sure who villa could get to improve the situation, if Pulis is available then possibly. People seem to be expecting miracles, unless Randy sells the club I think we have as good as it gets.

  11. Lambert is useless but Lerner is far worse, who appointed Lambert ? Who appointed McLiesh ? Who sold our best players ? Who insists on the club being run on a shoestring budget that would embarrass Swansea Hull or Albion ? Lerner has done incredible damage to Aston Villa and he will be remembered for a free scarf and a plastic flag when he is finally a distant memory. Never mind Lambert out, it’s LERNER OUT f
