Villa To Sack The West Bromwich Albion Manager

You're sackedI’ve got a friend who supports the Baggies, and he said to me he would love us to beat them on Saturday and get Alan Irvine the sack. There are fans out there that would love their side to lose if there was a possibility for their manager to get the sack; I never want my side to lose! But I’m willing to oblige my friend and grant him his wish. Villa is going to keep to their side of the bargain and win, and then it’s up to the Doug Ellis ‘Wannabe’ to sack his manager.

Villa is currently unbeaten in 5 matches and with Benteke back in the side and looking back to his brilliant best, I can only see him terrorising the Albion defence and scoring us the goals to get us the win. Clark and Okore are building a strong partnership in the centre of defence and there is no reason to change it, even if Vlaar is fit for selection. We don’t need to worry about our defence in this match, their confidence is sky high and they trust each other as a unit.

However, the midfield is a little tricky to pick this weekend. Westwood is out for 3 to 4 weeks and Cleverley might make it into the starting line up, but I’m unsure. Weimann will be available for selection, but I would be happy to see him on the bench for this one as he’s offered little lately. Bacuna, wow, I just don’t know! How about Lowton pushed up out on the right wing? I’m not going to think about this one too much, I’ll let Lambert choose and then I’ll think what he’s trying to achieve. But whatever midfield he decides to go with, I’ll believe we’re going to win this match and maybe grant my friends wish. UTV

  1. This is so negative! Instead of trying to get Alan Irvine the sack, all fans need to get behind him and encourage the team, not talking about ways to see them lose. Remember there are two things that are hard on the human heart…one is running up stairs and the other is running down people.

  2. Midfield is a real tough one. Any possibility of Delph being fit for it? If not, Sanchez Richardson and Herd? Couldn’t make a 5 yard pass between them. I’ve got real concerns for this one but with Benteke Gabby and Weimann we’ve got a threat. Not sure what you’re on about with Weimann. There was an article saying he was involved in more of our goals than any other player was at their club. Admittedly, we had only scored 7 goals at the time, but the point is there

  3. dont care about the baggies,, just need to win

remember weinman needs benteke as gabby is hopeless as a target man
there is enough quality in the squad to win this,, it comes down to lamberts
tactics and our ability to finish the chances we create
if we are bold we should win this
