Villa To Do Sunderland A Favour And Beat Newcastle On Saturday

Damien Duff Steven Taylor Relegation Aston VillaSaturday, Newcastle will pay a visit to Villa Park hopefully looking for three points to help with their Premiership survival. Newcastle and Villa haven’t had the best relationship for a while, and this was further widened when their relegation from the Premier League was confirmed way back in the 2008/09 season.

The bitterness they hold towards anything Villa is quite staggering, it was as if that one result had only counted to their relegation. Ok, we made fun of their situation, but tough luck, you give it, and you take it!!! That’s just the way it goes, right? Banter!!! Ha Ha Ha!!!

Villa on the other hand have been getting a lot of sympathy from opposing fans, usually after we’ve just been beaten, but you know something, it really does my head in! I’d much rather have the P**S ripped out of us, because we’ve been rubbish all season and we deserve to be where we are!

WBA and The Birmingham City fans have been giving it big time, and so they should, but do I believe they’re responsible for our relegation? No!!! It really baffles me why the Newcastle fans blame us for their relegation; they need to get over it!!!

But now, and because of their unnatural hatred towards us, I hope we beat them!!! I hope we can raise our game and get that win on Saturday. If I were to bet a spare couple of pounds, I would definitely flip my laptop on and bet on both teams to score with William Hill. I might also have a sneaky bet on Villa to win it, we’ve just started to find the back of the net, so who knows, stranger things have happened!

We need to do Sunderland a big favour on Saturday, and I wouldn’t want to insult the Mackem’s, but like the Geordie’s, they do take things to heart. They’re a passionate bunch up there, but to gain the affection of the Sunderland fans when we beat Newcastle Saturday afternoon, and maybe take the Geordies down with us, oh, that would be priceless!!! HOWAY THE LADS!!! Ha Ha Ha!!!

  1. Villa be my 2nd fave team ever if you beat the gravy men, c’mon villa make them get the bedsheets out again

  2. The vast majority of Newcastle fans don’t hate Villa. To be honest other when we play you twice as season, they really don’t give a shit about you. Given where you are in the table you may have been better served concentrating on your team instead of obsessing on an imagined rivalry.

  3. Villa owe their fans a performance after what they have had to put up with this terrible season. Makes you wonder if the players realize the size of the club they are lucky enough to be playing for. Last home game, come on Villa show what you are made of.

  4. TBH, a lot of my family come from Brumby, always looked for Yorkshire results and watched you play whenever I was down visiting.
There was never ANY animosity towards the Villa until a few numpties unfurled those banners and other Pi@@ocks joined in, now I see our numpties and yours are flogging this dead horse again instead of worrying about how precarious the future is for BOTH our clubs, sad really.

  5. Toon fans just dislike the way Villa fans took the p1ss last time we were relegated. No hatred but what goes around comes around

  6. Never met a Toon fan that blamed Villa for us going down. Ashley is usually the villain 🙂 Having been down once before all I can say it is not the end of the world, just separates the plastic fans from the real ones. Saying that we still had crowds well over 40.000 on most games and some close to 50.000.
We wish you a speedy recovery, the championship can have a cleansing effect on a club.

    • No good trying to slaver up to us Villa fans, hoping you will get an easy three points. You were giving it the bigguns towards us the last time you went down.

  7. McKEMS would love to see the VILLANS turn on the style and bad the Mag scum. You are due a game of passion and style to end the season on, dont worry you will bounce straight back.

  8. “Villa on the other hand have been getting a lot of sympathy from opposing fans, usually after we’ve just been beaten” Just show how little class your sorry bunch have. You are a disgrace to the premier league and I hope we dont see you back there again… Oh, and your excuse of a team will lose again on saturday, you dont have it in you to do anyone any favours.

  9. Newcastle fans shouldn’t talk about flogging dead horses with their well documented violence towards our equine friends

    • Ed come on that horse was humiliated by being knocked out on his way to the strawberry pub. He had a face as long as livery street for months. Sadly he took his life like Emily Davison did at Epsom by running into the crowd racing to get out of villa park on 74 mins.

  10. “It really baffles me why the Newcastle fans blame us for their relegation; they need to get over it!!!”

We dont.. What are you on about? Yeah we have a bit of hatered because of the way yas went on when we got relegated.. but we defo don’t think your the reason we got relegated haha. Get a grip of yaself..

What a shit article..”Gain the affection of the Sunderland fans?” LMFAO

You havent got a fooking chance of coming back up next season either! You cant even afford to power ya scoreboard now HAHA You will have to get yaself a prepapid electric topup card meter installed xD

  11. To be honest, as a Newcastle life long fan we don’t even know that Villa exists untill we play you’s, you’s are very easily forgotten about, I have never heard one person in my home city ever mention anything about Villa, not a single person ever, oh and you’s definitely won’t be winning on Saturday, I’ll guarantee that, anyway there is no rivalry with Villa, I have no idea where you lot of got that impression from, completely deluded.

  12. It’s a shame the way Villas season has worked out, a great club steeped in history who I am sure will return to where it belongs ( the premiership) before too long.
As a makum I have a good few Villa friends and know they always have a good away support at the SOL.
For the duration of the game supporters have the usual rivelry, however before and after the game both sets of supporters often mix with friendly football talk and banter in the pubs and clubs.
Come on villa please do us a favour on Saturday and beat Newcastle, make the Sunderland fans happy and do your home fans proud.
