There’s Going To Be No Giant Killing At Villa Park Tonight

vila leytonThis is just a short post before I go to the match. Leyton Orient is visiting Villa Park tonight hoping they can do a Giant Killing. We all love it when a lower league team turn over a Premiership side, except when it happens to your side.

Come on, any proper football fan out there should give you an absolute caning if a lower league team has knocked your side out, it’s called Banter, I know it’s a dirty word at the moment, but I’ve had to endure a lot of it over the last few seasons, especially when we lost to flaming Bradford.

So when a big team gets knocked out of the cup (Manchester United), I’m going to give them a bit of stick and not feel bad about it at all. What was that, Manchester United lost to Milton Keynes Dons, Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!

You might say I’m putting the mockers on the Villa tonight, well I don’t believe in that crap, in fact, I’ll put the mockers on it even more, We’re going to win tonight, or I’ll cart wheel up the road in my purple Y fronts. So Come on Villa, we’ve got this one in the bag! UTV

  1. Glenn , I have just heard the score , when are you going to cartwheel up the road in your y fronts I wanna be there to get a few photos maybe put a few on here to prove to your subscribers that you are a man of your word

  2. So when’s this going to happen Glenn? You know what it’s probably best not to add a post before the Hull match! Thanks Bud.

  3. Totally agree Paul if he doesn’t how can you take him serious in anything he says in the future , get the y fronts out

  4. Do’nt know about the purple Y-Fronts. He should at least have the decency to wear red ones in support of that fabulous Leyton Orient, deserved, victory. Or did I miss something?

  5. Just stumbled on this blog and I’m afraid the best team won but you can take solice in knowing you didn’t play your best team available which is really confusing as in reality this was your best chance of silverware this season..oh by the way GET YOUR Y FRONTS OUT

  6. Fair play to the Villa fans here saying we won fair and square.

How about the author now cartwheels in the y-fronts for charity. Be better than a bloody ice bucket challenge. Am sure we could publicise at the O’s and Villa (who to be fair have been very supportive of our Stand Up For The Orient Campaign on facebook) and through my fanzine and raise a handsome sum for charity?

Best of luck for rest of the season guys

    • Hi Mat, congratulations on your clubs win last night and I honestly mean it. My throw away line, Cartwheeling Up The Road in my Purple Y Fronts was a phrase I thought existed, like, I’ll eat My Hat!

As you can see I’ve had a lot of stick for my comment from the Villa & Orient fans but I really thought we would win, we lost, I got it in the neck and that’s what it’s all about.

We the Villa fans gave out a lot of stick to the Manchester United fans for losing against Milton Keynes Dons, then some of them got scared they might put the mockers on our game with you. I was trying to make the point, that it doesn’t matter what you say, it wouldn’t magically affect the result although I’m starting to wonder if there’s actually something in it.

I won’t be doing anything in my underpants I’m happy to say but I will make a donation of £50 to any charity of your choice to show good faith.

Good luck to your teams progression in The Cup, I hope you can get as far as you can. Glenn

  7. Haha premiership your having a laugh, see you in the championship next season lads, try not to bring that stupid Scottish guy down with ya, never liked him

  8. I think Paul Lambert should be the one made to cartwheels down the road in his undercrackers, not the fans. BTW I agree, red ones please….
