The Worst Manchester United Side In Premiership History

man u villaI’ve been talking to a few Villa fans leading up to tomorrows match against Manchester United, and none of them give us a chance of winning. In fact, I’ve been getting comments like, ‘we’re going to get thrashed’, and ‘Manchester United are going to smash us all over Old Trafford’, great!!!

I really think we’ve got a good chance of getting something out of this match! Yes United have won their last four matches in the Premiership, but they haven’t looked convincing winning these matches, and frankly, this has got to be the worst United team I’ve ever seen since the Premiership first started, and we must take advantage of that fact.

Have some of the Villa faithful forgotten that we’ve got a new manager! I guess the negative shadow of the last one is still looming large over a lot of the Villa faithful, and they fear the worst when we come up against a big club. But you need to get that man out your systems and start getting positive about Sherwood and the Villa team, they need us, our positivity will help them.

Benteke and Delph

Benteke played for his country in the international break, as did Fabian Delph. Both were substituted in their second of their two internationals, and both came through both games without any injuries. Benteke got on the score sheet, and Delph played an important part for England, especially in the first game against Lithuania.

In both games Delph was trending on Twitter, with football fans questioning his place in the team; frankly, they can stick their opinions on Delph being good enough for England straight up their orifices. And another thing, you’ll never hear me criticise Delph if he’s not having his best game for England, especially when other people outside of the Villa family are giving him stick on Twitter. He’s a Villan, and I’ve got his back!!! UTV

  1. Yes, they may be the worst united team in years but they are in a great run of form. I hope our patched up defence can hold out.

I am more positive about the game than if Lambert was still there but I feel we need a couple of things to happen if we’re going to get a result today.

We have to take care of Fellaini, a filthy player – all elbows and a cynical winner of free-kicks – who unfortunately happens to be in form right now.

We also have to take our chances. Massive boost if we get anything out of this game. Come on you Villa boys!

Spot on about Delph, he’s one of us. VTID.
