The Villa Players Need To Take Responsibility: Aston Villa vs WBA

responsibilityThe moment Tony Pulis walked into West Bromwich Albion as their manager, WBA guaranteed their safety in the Premiership. Aston Villa on the other hand backed a manager who was totally out of his depth, which has led us to a position by where we could quite possibly get relegated. The Villa board finally acted to remove the man who was in-charge of our club, and Tim Sherwood was given the job to save our season.

Sherwood has lost his first two matches as Villa manager, unluckily I might add, but bad luck only seems to happen when you’re at the wrong end of the league and time is running out. Villa need to make their own luck tomorrow night and get into the faces of the West Bromwich players in such a way that they won’t get sent off. This is our Cup final, and the prize is three points. This match is so important to us, and the players need to take responsibility, they Bloody Well owe us!!!

Sherwood is stirring things up a bit, and I haven’t got one single problem with that. Some people might say that his comments suggesting that WBA are a little club compared to the massive Aston Villa, is the wrong thing to say before an important match but I say, carry on Tim! A Tony Pulis side won’t play any better than they already are, they already know what they’ve got to do under Pulis, but listening to Sherwood is giving me hope for our Premiership safety this season.

But If it were possible to buy three points for tomorrow nights match, I would estimate the price to be around the £9m mark, but Mr Jeremy Peace would only sell at £20m ‘The Rotten Git Him’! But that is just pie in the sky from me, as if you can buy three points! The reality is we need to win this match, and if you could buy a win for real, you would, but you can’t, so we need to pay for our win with blood sweat and commitment for the survival of our football club, and my sanity!
