The Arrogance Of Manchester United Will Be Their Downfall

How on earth Manchester United finished fourth last season I’ll never know! There was just something about the way they played that made you think they were very lucky to get into the top four. I’m sure someone will tell me, but I don’t remember any match they had last season that stood out as a vintage United performance! They were a very average side to say the least!

The United fans will drive up the M1 and M40 in their droves to watch what they think will be an easy win or draw for them, and for many years this has been a happy hunting ground for them. But tomorrow night we need to buck this terrible trend and I believe we will with a great performance and a win.

Our Unknown Quantity and United’s arrogance will be some of the reasons why we’ll shock them! Yes, with many new players coming into our squad we have to give them time to gel, and if your side is on a losing streak, we mustn’t press the panic button to soon! But we won our first match last week when no one gave us a chance, and there is no reason why we can’t do it again tomorrow night!

Tim Sherwood will make sure that none of the Villa players will in any way feel inferior to the opposition! There’s just something about Sherwood that would not allow our Young Lions to think or feel that way. Sherwood is the main reason why confidence is flowing back through our football club, and it will be his infectious personality along with our Unknown Quantity factored in, that will surprise a few people this season, starting with our second win of the season tomorrow night! 1. “United fans will drive up the M1 and M40 in their droves”
“starting with our second win of the season”

    Now who is being arrogant”

  2. LOL who is this moron mahn!! lol sounds like a retarded, chip-on-your shoulder-over zealous pathetic Aston villa fan….laugh

  3. Wow I can’t believe you would write an article and say there is no way you watch Manchester united vs Manchester city saying that wasn’t classical match. The way man utd play second half of last season was magnificent and was a reminiscence of Ferguson watching Smalling grow was absolutely amazing. You should go back and watch Man Unt against the big boys they were amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats all i gat to say

    • “n their d roves to watch an easy performance”

      This is poorly written

“Yes, Manchester United fans will drive up the M1 and M40 in their droves* to watch (pick from the following):
      *An easy win for United
      *To watch United win easily
      *An effortless win for United

      What not to write
      *an easy performance

  4. Very funny article. Just wait until friday. Am very sure after the match, you will have nightmares at night. You will dream about Rooney annihilation of villa. Hhahahahaahhahhahahahahhahaahaaaha

  5. I’m a villa fan and I agree that UTD were nothing great last season. They have started to become a team of grinders bit like Cheksea where they don’t play particularly great but know how to go one up and see it out. Nothing wrong with that wish we could do it. Also there was no CL for them last year and Liverpool were awful so they had no real competition. Having said that I really can’t see us winning tomorrow if we defend like we did v Bournemouth Rooney will get a least 2. Best we can hope for is a draw and I’d take that now.

  6. Good lord is this guy asking to enrage keyboard worrier United fans. What i would say in this is:

    – United weren’t great against Spurs
    – Were average last season
    – Have a great record against us at Villa Park

It is early in the season, we could cause an upset against a, let’s be honest, weak United defense compared to previous teams.

    Ps:
Some of these United fans need to have English lessons.

  7. Should be an interesting game. I think Tim will have us really up for this and, whilst I would not want to put any money on a Villa win, I am more confident than I have been at any time since O’Neill of competing in games against the big four/five. Be interesting to see Gestede up against Blind (or even Smalling who was ragdolled at VP by Tekkers a few years back).

  8. Looks like you reeled quite a few idiots in Glenn !!! Actually I think your post has a lot of merit to it, but the cunts that are United, always seem to find a way at Villa Park. Hope that you’re right though. Good Luck Villa !!! VTID
