Sunderland Smashed And N’Zogbia Runs The Show

charlieI brought the old MacBook Pro up to Sunderland to write my post match blog today because I knew we were going to get a positive result. We’re currently driving down the A1 at the moment and I’m over the moon with what I’ve just witnessed. I don’t care what anyone says, but under the last manager we wouldn’t have come anywhere near a win today. Tim Sherwood has changed the mind-set of our entire football club.

I’m not going to take you through all of the goals today, but it’s nice to see Gabby and the Beast Benteke back in the goals. For the first 10 minutes of the match Villa were trying to find their way, then on 16 minutes Benteke found the back of the net for the first of our 4 goals, then MR Agbonlahor got his first of his two a couple of minutes later, and the Villa faithful went absolutely wild.

So the goals were shared between Benteke and Gabriel Agbonlahor, but my man of the match has to go to N’Zogbia. Since Sherwood has been at our club Charlie has probably played his best football, and today he was unplayable! Everything that was creative seemed to start with him no matter what part of the pitch he was on, Charlie always done something positive with the ball. I really can’t stress how good he was today and the Villa fans knew it, and when he was substituted on 79 minutes, the ovation was incredible, and he bloody well deserved it!

I’m one happy Villa fan today, and I’m going to enjoy our win before we get down to business next week. Thank God Mr Fox made the decision to bring in Sherwood when he did, because I’m putting the turn around in our form down to Tim Sherwood! I love his style and how he talks up Aston Villa; it’s what our club has been missing for a long time, and all of a sudden, our club has the feel of how a big club should be. UTV
