So Who’s Coming Home? Ashley Young?

Who?There was a tweet put out there in Twitter land by Stan Collymore (which was apparently taken down later) saying: He’s coming home, he’s coming home, he’s coming… Who’s coming home? Gareth Barry? No chance! Ashley Young? I can’t see that one either. But I do vaguely remember some years ago a rumour going around that Young might be coming back to the Villa, and then all of a sudden, he pens a new deal with United! We need to watch that we’re not being used to somehow broker a better deal for himself.

How about Joleon Lescott? And before you start telling me he has never played for the Villa, I know! But apparently he’s a Villa supporter, so it could be seen like some sort of homecoming, couldn’t it? I would love to see Lescott in a Claret & Blue football jersey, but I would be astounded if he signed for the Villa. And can you imagine the fans of West Bromwich Albion, I know, it would be great! Me personally, I haven’t got a clue who is coming home if there is anyone coming home at all. So long it’s isn’t the last manager, I’m not bothered.

Just one little thing, I do hope that Sherwood gives Kozák a fair go this season and not shipped him out on loan just because some other centre forward might sign for the Villa. Libor scored two great goals the other evening against the Wolves and was one of our best players that night. I feel he could become a darling of the Villa faithful given a chance. 1. I don’t want to see that ugly cunt Lescott anywhere near VP. All that he’s villa talk is bollocks judging by his celebrations whenever he’s scored against us. Aside from that he’s too old, overrate and the fact he’s playing for them obsessed Sandwell cretins points to him not being good enough

    • Rory, your an asshole, he grew up in Birmingham, he and his brother were season ticket holders, fool. But more experience is just what we need at the back.

  2. Ashley Young and Lescott are both quality and would be great additions to our squad.
As for Collymore I don’t care what he thinks or says. He was massively overrated and arrogant. Strolling around the pitch at Villa Park like he was some sort of hero.
Quite the the opposite, he did virtually nothing for the club he pretends to support. Hes a Wolves fan.

  3. How would Ashley Young returning to Villa be ‘coming home’? Villa are just another club to Young – we bought him from Watford who developed him. Why in the name of god would anyone (barring a moron) think that a ‘coming home’ reference would mean Young?

It is Joleon Lescott – self declared Villa fan.
