Ron Vlaar On The Bench For West Ham?

ronald Vlaar 100Hey Ron, I’m afraid you’re dropped for Saturdays match against West Ham. It’s been quite clear to me that for some time now, you don’t want to stay at The Villa!!! Apparently there’s been a contract on the table for quite a while, but still no signature.

With Fabian Delph out injured, there’s plenty of time for him to sign a new contract for the Villa too, which is mirroring Ron Vlaar’s situation. There’s still no news about Delph, but the reality is they are both looking for a move away from Villa Park, and I’m seething inside!!!

Long before Randy Lerner came to the Villa, this situation has occurred again and again. We need to make sure that our want away stars will put our club first in every footballing situation. With Vlaar’s injury record, should we really trust him to give 100%, I wouldn’t take the risk; he wants to move too Manchester United and truth be known, I want to punish him for that.

If you’ve ever looked at any of my older posts or you know me personally, then you’ll know that I don’t take kindly to players wanting to leave the Villa, no matter how long they’ve been here for. Unless you’ve left our club in what I deem as the right way, then you can go to hell!!! So please Ron, sign the new contract because I’m seething inside, and for now, Your Ass Is On The Bench!!! UTV

  1. Would you stay with Lambert, who can’t motivate , or think
Beyond plan A with a owner who never turns up . Delph
Is also stalling, prediction Benteke next until this manager
Is removed this the normal senario of the lerner Lambert
Plan. After two seasons of garbage football can you blame them.
In December any club can approach their agents without
    Avfc permission (wm) radio. Tonight.

  2. You cannot blame any player worth his salt wanting out why struggle at our club season after season. It is quite ridiculous allowing players to run down their contracts and then leave for nothing. How many weeks over the past three years have we paid Delph £30k plus each week to sit in the treatment room. Lets bomb them out the door in January and at least get something for them. Until Lerner gets the club sold and we get someone in with decent man management skills (which rules out Lambert and Keane) we are going nowhere only the championship.

  3. I thought Lerner was going to take us out of the period of players wanting to leave villa when a so called big club came in for them. The fact of the matter is , it’s got worse !!!! Go back into history and you will see throughout footballs history, money talks. The only way your going to get your wish for players to stay when villa turned them into a good player is, to pay big money !!!! Money talks my friend, but I respect how you feel.

  4. Throwing wobbler is going to accomplish anything. Vlaar & Delph have given villa loyalty beyond doubt. I can’t knock them for wanting to go to futher their careers, it makes sense when you’ve got a Muppet as a manager and an owner who wants to sell the club. Good Luck To Them.

  5. I accept that Lambert hasn’t got it, but regarding contracts I blame the CEO who has now gone. At the end of a season the management announce who is not retained, at the same time, players who we want to retain who have a year left on their contract should be offered a new contract. If they do not sign by June 30th, then they should be put on a transfer list and moved on for a fee. It is a hard nosed business, particularly from the players agents, and we have fallen for the ” I’m villa till I die” statement from too many players now. Vlaar will go to Man Utd in a PX deal for Cleverley. Vlaar valued at £12 m by Villa, Cleverley at £8m by Utd, writing is already on the wall, I bet the deal is already done. Delph looks to have been taped up by Liverpool who are so good at that. Let’s be honest, can we blame then from wanting to get away from a club that are only going one way. I am reminded of Coventry who were close to relegation year after year, in the end they went, and look at them now!!!

  6. Life with out Vlarr or Delph was always going to be a possibility and should have been planned for with forward thinking ,players no matter how good they are for our club always want to move on to futher there careers that’s the normal reason that’s given but the truth is we are a club in decline and cannot give what these players crave and that’s footballing success trophies ,champions league and a bloody big bank balance , well to me that’s what success as footballer should be .
Our ambition as a club comes from the top and should filter its way down through the ranks ,we have no ambition only to stay in the premiere league to hopefully pick up a gem of a player only to see him leave to further his career and so the cycle continues ..Vlarr will leave and so will Delph and our frustrations will grow until the man at the top takes a real interest in what it takes to run a football club whoever that maybe .and who’s ambition for villa matches it’s supporters .
Aston villa is our obsession it’s not A toy to us but a constant that’s bring us so much pleasure even when we are at our lowest throughout the years and we will always be here but players and managers alike will come and go so I give thanks to Delph who for me has done about as much as he can to be a driving force in our team and to Vlarr I say good riddance you have been over rated both as a player and a captain ,you’ve showed no motivational skills to the rest of the team and no encouragement to baker and Clarke how need it to develope into good reliable defenders

  7. The sad truth is you are not the club you were.. you live in the past Albion are know a bigger club at least you will have a derby with blues next year have fun

  8. I say leave them both out as next session they won’t be with us what the point in making a team round them when there going to mess of any way I say don’t play any of them delph owes us really for what villa done for him selish twat

  9. For what we done for delph he should at least sign a new contract so we can get some money for him if not we will get nothing and by the way on the cleverly thing I hope they chuck Ashley Young in to could do with a gd wide man

  10. Nothing surprises me no more with the modern footballer 99% are selfish twats who don’t give a toss about the fans and the club they play for , the club is a cash cow to them , players like Gerard! terry etc are far inbetween only can you put Gabbi in that bracket…this is what football is all about now , in a way I don’t blame the player for taking the money and running because I expect it these days I blame the club for not tying them down to a contract 12 months ago another example of the ineptitude of the management team down at villa. Personally I’m falling out of love with villa and football as a whole why should I pay my money to go and watch a team of players who don’t give a toss about me and pay my money to a club who I could manage better than the present load of arseholes who are mascarading as a management team

  11. It’s inevitable that top players, stuck in the mire of an ambition-free club, playing dire football under a manager who has the inspirational qualities of Wednesbury on a wet Monday morning, will want away. I don’t blame them at all and sadly. What price Guzan and Benteke next? I’m in my 50th year as a fan, and have been through so many amazing ups, and plenty of depressing downs, but never have I known anything as bad as this current regime. I’m beginning to wish that us fans could leave on Bosman – but it’s impossible when you have Villa in your DNA.

In the interim, if anyone stumbles across the monastery where Randy Pandy & Samantha Fox are attempting a world record for maintaining a vow of silence, please send it’s co-ordinates to the US Air Force, with a note explaining that the ISIS leadership are hiding out there. Light the blue touch paper and retire.
