The Aston Villa pre match huddle really needs to stop now! Think about it for a moment, when things are going good for your club, the huddle can appear to show that the players are united together, but when things are constantly wrong, the huddle can become something being done out of duress.
When Villa were constantly losing at home last season, it looked as if some of the players taken part in it, didn’t really want to do it. Could you imagine doing a pre match huddle with the likes of a Yacouba Sylla? That’s right, if you see that someone isn’t up to the mark or putting it in, it would feel phony wouldn’t it.
