It’s Time For Villa To Start Giving Us Something Back, And It Starts Tomorrow Against QPR

Villa QPRI’m finding it hard to call the result tomorrow night between QPR and Aston Villa. Due to our short-term form, it would suggest that we’re going to lose, but the opposition we’re playing are bottom of the league and going through a bad time, so who knows. People keep mentioning that we’ve got our tough games out of the way, almost suggesting that we’re good for a win against QPR, I must think differently from a lot of Villa fans.

I find it hard to be positive about my side when we’ve offered no threat going forward, shots on target and concede goals like it’s going out of fashion. How people can say we’re going to win tomorrow is beyond me, this season we’ve hardly created any chances and without chances you can’t score goals to win games.

Paul Lambert has been talking to the press this week saying that he’s looking for a positive response against QPR; I hope that’s the case, as bold statements and rallying cries just don’t do it for me at this moment in time. I want to see our football team playing football in the proper way with skill and structure, having a go!!! And if we come up short, I won’t feel so bad.

I go to most of the Villa matches and giving and taking should be a two way street. We sing our hearts out and generate an atmosphere that any team in the world would be proud of; even the Tottenham fans said we had the best travelling support last season and what a season that was for the Villa! Now it’s time for you, ‘The Management’, ‘The Villa First Team’, to give us something back, because in between these bad run of matches that we have quite often, I’m finding it hard to stay positive. 1. Your spot on. I think QPR will walk over us tomorrow

How Lamnerk sets us up is a disgrace to football and it will be the same old shite set up tomorrow

  2. great support, but how much longer can we accept this crap football.lambert says we will give it a right old go,well i cant see it.

  3. With you Glenn on this one. We have been pitiful with regards to both attacking & defending. I had been feeling a bit glum & apprehensive about the game tomorrow, however you can always rely on our near neighbours to @ least put a smile on your face. Anyway back to the game, I would start with Benteke & Grealish up front. I believe if you are good enough, then you are old enough & Jack is certainly that. I honestly believe that these two, could kick start our season.

The others have got to stand up & counted, and there is no better place than Loftus Road

  4. Due to our short-term form
Short term could be a season at rhe most in my eyes
We have have been dire for much longer than that
The Whole of Lerners reign has been a Total Disaster

  5. this could be the final sequence, which will
Finally end Paul lamberts time as manager.
Lose the next three matches, and it’s over.
Which will happen. This lerner Lambert,
Show will end soon. The fans will force it.

  6. QPR will be no pushovers tomorrow night if anything this will be much harder than the last four games we’ve had ,they will want to finish tomorrow’s game with three points in the bag so we have to be on our mettle ,it’s hard though to see where our next goal is going to come from with our middle three unable to get forward and support the front players weimanns form is poor at best benteke is still short of fitness and gabbys new contract is slowing him down with all that cash in his shorts . I will however still believe that this game will (I do believe i do believe ) ….but us back on track , but should it fail I can see a parting of the waves coming supporters as I can see from your post are turning in there droves because of the poor football on show ,two and a bit seasons is long enough for our manger to show his worth ……TIME TO DELEIVER THE GOODS ………

  7. Don’t forget how demoralizing it must be for the players as well to be set up that way by Lambert, knowing as you run out onto the pitch that his tactics mean you’ll be defending for most of the game and as soon as you go a goal behind your job will be just to keep the score down.
