Well, this lot aren’t are doing it for me. Firstly, you’ve got Lerner or have we. Apart from a 30 second clip on youtube Ive never heard the man talk especially on Aston Villa. Is he really interested, I don’t think he is! Well you never see him around Villa Park. He’s also shown his hand in the past by turning us into a selling club. If you support Villa then you know which players he allowed to leave our club, just imagine if they were here now where we could be. Also you have to make hard decisions i.e. Sacking managers when they don’t come up to the mark. If a manager is rubbish, then sack him! and you keep on doing it until you get it right. Mind you they can’t even hire a good manager in the first place, Alex McLeish.
Secondly, Paul Lambert has shown himself to be tactically inept Imo. For me when we got that great result against Liverpool and followed up with a win against WBA, why would you change and reorganise a winning side against Everton? His team line ups too, we’ve got strikers for wingers, right wingers for left backs, midfielders for central defenders. Yes our squad isn’t the strongest, but for me, Lowton was one of the best English right backs in the Premiership last season and he hardly gets a look in these days, why?
And what about his substitutions! When he decides to do one, when things aren’t going our way, its usually too late to make a difference, and when he does make sub, he usually takes the wrong person off anyways, why take off Albrighton against Manchester United on Saturday and replace him with Tonev, anyone could see it should have been Weimann who should have gone. And there are plenty more instances of this happening in the past and many others examples I could give you why I think Lambert should go, but I’ll be here all night if I do.
The way they are making me feel these days is quite awful. You know, I’m not even bothered about relegation anymore if it means we have to go on like this forever. And I don’t even think thats sad because I remember what it was like before we became a selling club and witnessed relative glory in the past.
AGREE. Lerner needs to sell up he isn’t interested any more and is happy as long as his business interest in the club stays the same
So he doesn’t want relegation but he doesn’t want to put anymore money in and he wants to pay what they pay in wages in the championship or division one
He has a payday when we sell a player like Benteke who would be sold for a lot more than we bought
Lamberts only following Lerners parsimonious ways he is a good manager having to buy low quality players in the hope he can make them better quality players. It’s not that they are young most of them are just not good enough good players won’t come to villa on the wages they pay
So you see you only get what you pay for so GO LERNER GO Red Bull are interested ain’t they????
I’ve been watching football for as long as I can remember and I’m telling you, we will never get anywhere under Lambert. Sell the club Randy and let someone take us over who wants to take us somewhere. Just go, both of you!
