Benteke To Run The Crystal Palace Show

ChristianBentekecele67354Benteke is back; he’ll add some much needed firepower up front for the Villa, something we’ve been lacking for a long time. The last 3 results could have been wins, if the big fellow hadn’t stupidly been sent off for raising his hands to the Tottenham player.

Hopefully Joe Cole will find himself in the starting line up against Crystal Palace tomorrow, as it was his performance that almost got us the win on Saturday. With Coles forward thinking and skilful attacking play, Benteke could find himself on the end of a good few chances to score, something our forwards failed to do against Burnley.

We know that if Cole does start tomorrow night, he will eventually have to come off due too a lack of match fitness, which is something that could have been avoided. Let’s hope that when Cole does eventually come off, we’re at least a goal or two up. Also, the subs that come on ‘Must’ step up to the plate.

Let’s hope we get our first win in ages!!! The Villa faithful deserve it; the wonderful support they’ve given the players is unbelievable considering what we’ve had to put up with for the last five years. Good Luck Villa!!! UTV

  1. Glen, I am a huge fan of ‘The Beast’ & would love nothing more than to see him fire a couple of goals tomorrow night. However, we have to be realistic & say that he will only score if he gets the right service, & I am sorry to say that @ present I can’t see where it is going to come from. I personally would start with Benteke & Grealish up front & gabby with a free role behind the two of them on either wing.

I am sorry to say but Weimann could not hit a cows arse with a banjo at present a maybe a run out or two with the reserves might get his shooting boots back into action.
