Just a quick word Gabby. If Steve Bruce decides to pick you or have you coming off the bench for todays match against the Blues, or if he decides to pick you for any upcoming matches, then please just get your head down and do the best you can. Be fit at all times and try to be a positive force in the dressing room.
It’s not nice to be left out in the cold for as long as you have, it made you feel a little bit rotten I suppose. Look at Bacuna, the Villa faithful wasn’t having him at the end of last season for one reason or another, and he’s turned it around with hard work and then found himself back into our good books. You can do it too!
Just one thing, and I’m not telling you what to do (maybe I am), but if Brucie decides to pick you in the future, and if you do something to affect a game in a positive way, or if you score a goal, then please don’t cup a hand to one of your ear’s and motion it towards the Villa faithful or do something like that to antagonise them because you’ve been out for a while, just celebrate normally, get your head down and we’ll take it from there.
